  • Argentina DVB-T2: Launch in February 2014 (AntinaUHF operating DVB-T in Buenos Aires area).
  • Austria DVB-T2: drie multiplekse (D, E, F), full launch in April 2013, 22 transmission sites.
  • Belgium DVB-T2: Expected to begin in March 2013.
  • Colombia DVB-T2: Adoption starts in 2012.
  • Denmark DVB-T2: one multiplex, with TV2 Danmark in HD, will launch in April 2012.
  • Estonia DVB-T2: one multiplex, soft launch in December 2012 (not all transmitters)
  • Finland DVB-T2: five multiplexes, soft launch in January 2011, full launch in February 2011
  • Iceland DVB-T2: Adoption to begin in 2013 and finish by end of 2014
  • Indonesië DVB-T2: Adoption to begin in 2012 and finish by end of 2018 of meer (depending on the 2018 situation later)

France DVB-T2 announced in May 2014 DVB-T2 tests in Paris for Ultra HDHEVC broadcast with objectives to replace 2020 the current DVB-TMPEG4 national broadcast.

The Southern African Development Community announced in November 2010 that DVB-T2 would be the preferred standard for the region.

In Serbia, both SD and HD broadcasts will air in DVB-T2.

The Media Development Authority of Singapore announced in June 2012 that the country’s free-to-air TV channels will go fully digital by the end of 2013 using DVB-T2.

It has been trialed in Spain and Germany.

Sri Lanka and Austria are also expected to use it.

Broadcasters in the United States are starting experimental trials of DVB-T2 in the Baltimore, MD area on WNUV-TV in the early morning hours as of 15 Februarie 2013. The tests are to determine viability as a broadcast standard for mobile devices and UltraHD.
